As of 26 of March 2018, Adobe has announced end-of-life for their Adobe Business Catalyst product, leaving their 79,000+ customers with no real instructions on what to do except download their data.
Arham Web Works specializes in migrating data from many different sources, and as a reaction to this news, we have developed a service for Migration of Adobe Business Catalyst to another website platform and hosting environment, and CRM for customer data.

The most important aspect of any migration from an end-of-life product is to ensure that all of the data that is built up in the software is retrieved and migrated correctly to the new system, to make sure that the impact to the business is minimized.
Some of the details provided by Adobe are:
Adobe will stop hosting existing sites on Business Catalyst on March 26th, 2020. Adobe encourages customers to download their data and migrate to other systems well before March 26th, 2020. Detailed how-to information and assistance are available. Customers’ data will be retained by Adobe until March 26th, 2020, after which date the data will be deleted. Data retention is for the sole purpose of allowing customers to export their data and transfer to another platform.
When will the End of Life take effect?
On March 26th, 2020.
Will this end-of-service affect paid sites as well?
Yes, all sites, including trial and paid sites, partner sites, etc. will be affected by the end of life.
Will data be available for download beyond the service end date?
No. Data will be deleted. We encourage users to download their data before the service end date.
Will my site be closed down?
At this time, all sites will continue to be live and the public will see no difference in your site. However, starting with March 26th, 2020 all sites will no longer be live and they will not be accessible either to the general public or to the site administrators. Please find an alternative platform for your site and data before this date.

STEP 2 – PLAN
Once the recommendation is accepted, we will produce a plan which details when and how we will go about migrating your data away from Business Catalyst. This plan will be presented to you for approval before the migration.

The migration may take hours or days, depending upon the amount of data in your Adobe Business Catalyst installation. During the Migration, there will be virtually no impact on your business and there should be no downtime on your existing web assets.
STEP 4 – WEB CONTENT, THEMES, STYLES
If you have chosen to move the existing website design without changes, we move the web content, theme and styling across to the new chosen web platform copying the layout and style of the website across to the new Web CMS with best practice in mind.
STEP 5 – TESTING
Testing is a very important stage in the process. Once everything is completed, we will test everything that has been migrated to ensure that no data was missed. Once the testing is completed by us, we will also request that you perform a second test and tell us anything that you notice (as you have more familiarity with your systems)
STEP 6 – ONGOING SUPPORT
We will support you ongoing for any support, updates or any other requirements.
